PROGRAM SCHEDULE

$0-35 per student / class | 60-120 min. sessions | July-September 2021

Book any subscription package (5, 10 or 20 classes) and combine any class / teaching artist – please email: Education@ArtWithoutBordersNYC.org with your selection.

Subscription Rewards*

$100 for five (5) classes + one (1) reward class** | $200 for ten (10) classes + two (2) reward classes | $400 for twenty (20) classes + five (5) reward classes from AWB Virtual program. Students are able to combine classes and teaching Artists.

Group Rewards: book a group of 5+ students, receive 10% discount plus two (2) reward tickets for the group leaders. Groups of 10+ students are eligible for an exclusive (closed to the public) class. Family and friends are welcome to observe.

*Subscription packages of five (5) classes are valid up to two (2) weeks after the first class taken and packages of ten (10) and twenty (20) classes are valid until the end of 2021. Students are encouraged to take at least one (1) class weekly. Note: Students registered to attend five (5) or more virtual classes will have the opportunity to apply for the AWB Mentorship Program. Application deadline: August 31, 2021.

**Reward (complimentary) classes are valid up to 30-days after the first class taken. Book your reward class confirming any 60-min Virtual class, any teaching artist participating in AWB Virtual program.

AWB Mentorship Program: Application is now open!

Art Without Borders New York is offering an exclusive Mentorship Program for students pursuing a career in the performing arts. The program provides a unique experience connecting students with world renowned industry professionals in the United States, including current and former company members from the New York City Ballet / Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Broadway.

Students registered to attend five (5) or more virtual classes will have the opportunity to apply for the AWB Mentorship Program. As part of this rare opportunity, each teaching artist will select one student as a Mentee* based on their work during the virtual program. The mentees will be offered: private coaching, guidance on academic and career goals, tickets to selected performances with a personalized backstage tour, and access to all AWB classes and events in 2021.

To be considered as a Mentee, you must attend a minimum of five (5) Virtual classes with Art Without Borders Inc. and submit a short video (5-min maximum) while taking a class from our Virtual Program.

$30 / Student | 90-min. session | Intermediate – Advanced Dance Level, Ages 10+

Live-streamed on Zoom: Workshop includes warm-up, choreography with individual corrections and ‘Meet the Artist’ Q & A session. Students will learn an excerpt from Andy Blankenbuehler’s choreography.

BIO: Tanairi Sade Vazquez has made her mark in all avenues of the entertainment world in Broadway, Television and film. As an established Broadway performer, Tanairi’s debut was in The Original Revival cast of West Side Story as one of the shark girls in 2009. After that, she was unstoppable originating her roles in Wonderland, Gigi, and On Your Feet on Broadway and also being part of the First National tour of Come Fly Away. She is currently in the ensemble of Hamilton: An American Musical on Broadway. Her passion for acting doesn’t end at the Broadway stage. Her first big role was a recurring spot as Annie Valdez in Season 3 of Orange Is The New Black. She can also be seen in Law and Order SVU, The Blacklist, The Deuce, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fosse/Verdon, and NBC’s Smash. Her next big project is set to premiere in December 2021, as a featured shark girl Charita in the new remake of West Side Story directed by Steven Spielberg, written by Tony Kushner, and choreographed by Justin Peck.

Tanairi Sade Vazquez- Broadway credits: Hamilton, On Your Feet, Gigi, Wonderland, West Side Story Revival. Film/TV: “West Side Story” feature film 2021, “Fosse Verdon”, “Mrs. Marvelous Maisel”, “Law & Order”, “Blacklist”, “Orange Is the New Black” (Season 3), “Smash” (Season 2).

*Subscription package of five (5) Workshops expires in two (2) months after the first workshop taken – we encourage all students to take at least two (2) workshops monthly. Reward class with a Subscription package of five (5) workshops is valid up to one (1) month after the first workshop taken.
